Silverloom is an online financial planning practice. Advice is delivered by video and phone, Australia wide, so where you live makes no difference to the adviser you work with or the depth of the advice you receive.
Wherever you need help with your wealth plan, from cash flow and tax to investments and estate structuring, we build evidence-based strategies that weave your whole financial position into one clear, measurable structure, reviewed as your circumstances change.
And we do it with a flexible service model, staying alongside you rather than handing over a document and stepping back.
Tell us all about yourself and let's see how we can help. No sell or strings, just clear, licensed advice.

The process is the same one you would expect from any advice relationship, with the meetings held over video instead of across a desk. You book an initial consultation, we talk through your position, and you leave that first conversation knowing what advice would involve and what it would cost. There is no obligation to go further.
From there, documents are shared securely, modelling is walked through on screen so you can see the assumptions rather than take them on trust, and the strategy is written up in a way you can read without a finance background. Implementation and reviews run the same way.
Working with an online financial adviser removes the two things that usually stop people getting advice at all, which are travel and scheduling. Appointments fit around work, and clients in regional Australia get the same adviser and the same process as anyone in a capital city.
Anthony Zaman is the Director and Principal Financial Adviser at Silverloom Advisory Group, Corporate Authorised Representative 1310731 under AFSL 700341, with more than ten years advising Australian clients. Any advice given is general in nature until we have considered your objectives, financial situation and needs.
The scope is the same as any advice relationship. Cash flow and debt, superannuation and contribution strategy, investment structure, insurance and risk, tax structuring, estate and succession planning, and retirement income. Where a question needs a specialist, we say so rather than stretching past what we are authorised to advise on.
Depth is set by what you need rather than by a package. Some clients want one piece of work done properly and then to be left alone. Others want an ongoing relationship with scheduled reviews. The service levels above exist so you can choose which, and change your mind later without starting again.
Online advice tends to suit people whose time is the constraint rather than their interest. Professionals with little room in the working day, business owners who cannot leave the site for an afternoon, families where getting two people in the same room at the same time is the hard part, and anyone living outside a capital city who has previously had a very short list of advisers to choose from.
It also suits people who want to see the reasoning. Working on a shared screen means the modelling, the assumptions and the trade offs are visible while they are being discussed, rather than summarised afterwards in a document.
Do I ever need to come into an office? No. The whole relationship runs by video and phone, and documents are shared and signed securely.
Is online advice regulated the same way? Yes. The licensing, the disclosure obligations and the requirement to act in your best interests are identical regardless of how the advice is delivered.
What happens in the first meeting? It is a conversation about your situation and what has prompted you to look now. You will get a plain answer about whether advice is likely to be worth the fee in your circumstances. It is free and there is no obligation to go further.
How long does it take? From first conversation to written advice is usually a few weeks, depending on how quickly information can be gathered and how complex the position is.
